I was a typically spoiled kid who entered a prestigious gateway into higher education naively thinking that a college education abroad was a given rite of passage and an assumed right. Ironically enough, by allowing me to explore, make mistakes, and incubate ideas until they brimmed over, my "privileged" education at Princeton opened my eyes to that fallacious perception. It was Princeton, both the academic institution and the people, that molded me to appreciate the opportunities that I have been given. It has also taught me to give to others and to strive towards the University motto: "...In the service of all nations".

In turn, I hope to give back to the institution that has played an integral part in the development and formulation of my personal ideals. My way of giving back to Princeton is to participate in its community, especially when the community is located a distance away from the Orange Bubble.

I currently hold the position of co-chair in the Malaysian chapter of the Princeton Alumni Schools Committee (ASC), whereby my organizational partner and I coordinate interviews for University applicants. I am also social chair for the Princeton Alumni Association of Singapore (PAAS), where I help organize events for our small but burgeoning club whilst managing its various communication channels, like the PAAS official Facebook page. I am also on the Princeton Books Awards committee, where I help liaise with local Junior Colleges in Singapore to reward outstanding all-rounded students of the institutions' choosing with a Princeton sponsored awards recognition.

If you are a Princeton alum in Malaysia/Singapore or a Princetonian with attachments to these two countries, please do not hesitate to reach out!
